450 Series Sliding Window

The horizontal sliding unit consists of three operating sashes and one fixed glass unit. For upgrading to triple glazing, a uniquely designed sash profile allows for the insulating glass unit to sit on the inner sash set. Corners are sealed at the joints with silicone for air and water tightness.

Heavy duty insect screens have fiberglass mesh and an extruded aluminum screen frame The colour/finish of the screen frame is made to match the window frames

Fibertec offers a spectrum of glazing options, from double glazing, and or triple glazing, hard coat/soft coat Low-E, warm edge spacers and argon gas as options.

Dual weather stripping around the perimeter of the window. Both inner sash interlocks are full height with heavy duty weather stripping to reinforce air and water tightness

Both sashes are equipped with spring loaded adjustable aluminum sash locks and nylon rollers gliding on a raised sill track.Certified limiting devices are available as an option that limits the window’s clear opening to 4 inches for child safety
